SOCOTRA ISLAND SOLID WASTE CLEANING PROJECT

Socotra Island Solid Waste Cleaning Project aims to preserve the unique natural beauty of Socotra Island and protect its sensitive environment from the negative effects of waste, in cooperation with the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund.   1. Cleaning large areas of natural areas on the island such as (wet, dry, coastal, reserves)
    The work teams were able to clean large areas of coasts, beaches and wild areas, which helped restore the beauty of the island and reduce pollution that negatively affects plants, coral reefs and local animals.
  2. Collecting huge quantities of waste
    The project collected huge quantities of plastic waste and also collected dilapidated iron and transported tons of it to special places.
